Wells Fargo Securities Head of Equity Strategy Christopher Harvey says markets “got ahead of themselves” on predicting the timing of a US recession. “We came into this year saying there’s going to be a slowdown and that’s what you’re seeing,” Harvey says on Bloomberg Television. “But if you look at underlying fundamentals, a lot of cash and recession calls are very premature.”
