    Jun.01 — Kathy Matsui, former vice chair of Goldman Sachs Japan, explains why she decided to launch a venture capital fund to help startups enhance environmental, social and governance values. Matsui is a general partner in the MPower Partners Fund, along with Yumiko Murakami, a former head of the OECD Tokyo Centre who spent 20 years working for Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse, and Miwa Seki, who teaches at a university after a career in portfolio management and investment banking. Matsui, who coined the term womenomics in a series of reports since 1999 exploring the economic benefits of boosting female participation in the Japanese labor market, speaks on “Bloomberg Markets: Asia.”
