Ocean Spray will now be able to produce cranberry products throughout the year after a deal with Agrícola Cran Chile Limitada.
Ocean Spray have acquired the main processing plant for Chile’s cranberry production and the Cran Chile growing operation will join the Ocean Spray Cooperative alongside 700 cranberry growers from the USA and Canada.
This is the first international acquisition by Ocean Spray, though the agricultural cooperative produces products for over 50 countries.

Ocean Spray had sales of $2.2 billion in 2012 with and net proceeds of $338 million. The cooperative is headquartered in Lakeville-Middleboro, Massachusetts, and employs around 2,000 people worldwide.
