Boeing’s 777X Takes First Flight

Jan.28 — Boeing Co.’s newest plane, the 777X, finally rumbled into the skies over the Washington factory complex constructed a half century ago for the original jumbo jet. The flight was on Saturday, January 25. The plane landed successfully almost four hours later. The manufacturer is still waiting for permission to fly the 737 Max again.
