Brad Pitt, Shia LeBeouf and Logan Lerman will all feature in the new Second World War film “Fury”, directed by David Ayer. The film will be released in cinemas worldwide from 17th October 2014.
The film is set in April 1945, towards the end of WWII. As the Allies make their final assault on Germany, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a daredevil mission behind enemy lines.
The cast of the film took the time to visit Bovington Tank Museum in Dorset, UK, to soak up the historical background of the machinery which has a central place in the movie. They were pictured riding in an army jeep and with the Sherman tank mocked up for the film. Whilst there, they filmed a special message for the Invictus Games, an sports event organised by Prince Harry for injured servicemen and women taking place on 10th – 14th September in London.
