Industry giant Safran said the aerospace industry will need a government bailout to survive the Covid-19 crisis, as the company saw its business plummet during the coronavirus crisis. Its CEO, Philippe PetitColin told FRANCE 24 that significant job cuts are inevitable and a government support in addition to the current temporary unemployment scheme will be needed to avoid a total collapse.
