Advertising: Levi’s Account Goes to Wieden + Kennedy

The Levi’s® brand has awarded its global advertising account to Wieden + Kennedy. The advertising agency is based in Portland, Oregon with offices in Portland, New York, São Paulo, London, Amsterdam, Delhi, Shanghai and Tokyo. The Portland, Shanghai, Tokyo and Sao Paulo offices will be working on the Levi’s account.

OMD has won the global Levi’s® brand media business including planning, buying, online and offline, following a three month review. OMD was named the “Most Creative Media Agency in the World” by The Gunn Report for Media for the fifth consecutive year in February 2010. In January 2011, they also picked up the eHarmony account which spends $90 million annually on ads, according to ad tracker Kantar Media.

Levi’s jeans are sold in 110 countries worldwide through a combination of online, wholesale channels, franchise stores and more than 470 company-owned and operated stores in 27 countries.
