UK General Election 2010 News – Video – David Cameron speaks following Hung Parliament, makes offer to Liberal Democrats

David Cameron, leader of the UK Conservative Party, speaking following the 2010 UK General Election.

Cameron makes an offer to Nick Clegg of the Liberal Democrat Party because “[the Conservatives] have to accept that we fell short of an overall majority… we must show leadership… we will now begin talks with other parties to see how [forming a Government] can be done.”

“I want to make a big, open and comprehensive offer to the Liberal Democrats. I want us to work together in tackling our country’s big and urgent problems: the debt crisis; our deep social problems; and our broken political system.”
