UK General Election 2010: Sinn Fein Win Tyrone West

Sinn Fein have won the Tyrone West seat in Northern Ireland in the 2010 UK General Election. Turnout was down 14.2% in this ward, which Sinn Fein won by 10,685 votes.

  • Pat Doherty – Sinn Fein – 18,050
  • Thomas Buchanan – Democratic Unionist Party – 7,365
  • Ross Hussey – Ulster Conservatives and Unionists – New Force – 5,281
  • Joe Byrne – Social Democratic & Labour Party – 5,212
  • Michael Bower – Alliance Party – 859
  • Ciaran McClean – Independent – 508
