Swimming: British Women’s 4x200m Fresstyle Relay Team Set New European Record

Great Britain’s Women’s 4x200m relay team of Caitlin McClatchey, Jasmin Carlin, Hannah Miley and Rebecca Adlington have broken the European and British record for the event while beating the USA in 7:49.04 during the semi-final at the World Championships at Rome.

The final will take place this evening, and there are hopes for a faster time as Hannah Miley is to be replaced by 400m silver medalist Jo Jackson who rested during the semi-final.
