Rugby Union: Stephen Jones to Replace James Hook on Wales’ Bench Versus England in RBS 6 Nations 2012

have made a change to their proposed squad to face England in this weekend’s RBS 6 Nations 2012 clash at after – who had been due to start the match on the replacements bench – failed to recover sufficiently from a recent bout of chicken pox.

, of , the most capped Wales player in history (104 appearances), will replace Hook, who plays his club rugby for , on the Wales replacements bench.

While Hook is physically well, the Wales management took the decision to remove him from the squad following a medical review. The player is likely to be able to return for the next Wales match, against Italy on 10th March.

v Wales kicks off at 16:00 GMT (17:00 CET) on Saturday 25th February 2012, at Twickenham Stadium, , England.
