Rugby Union: Stephen Jones to Replace James Hook on Wales’ Bench Versus England in RBS 6 Nations 2012

Wales have made a change to their proposed squad to face England in this weekend’s RBS 6 Nations 2012 clash at Twickenham after James Hook – who had been due to start the match on the replacements bench – failed to recover sufficiently from a recent bout of chicken pox.

Stephen Jones, of Scarlets, the most capped Wales player in history (104 appearances), will replace Hook, who plays his club rugby for Perpignan, on the Wales replacements bench.

While Hook is physically well, the Wales management took the decision to remove him from the squad following a medical review. The player is likely to be able to return for the next Wales match, against Italy on 10th March.

England v Wales kicks off at 16:00 GMT (17:00 CET) on Saturday 25th February 2012, at Twickenham Stadium, London, England.
