The PBH Free Fringe is a great supplement to the big shows of the Edinburgh Festival. Pop in to see some up and coming acts – free of charge – in between the big names and expensive productions.
The Fresh Bread comedy troupe will be presenting “Johnny’s Favourite Show”.
“Putting the “party” back in “search party”.
“When Johnny – the famous show business personality with whom I’m sure you’re all familiar – asked Fresh Bread if they’d like to help him put on a spectacular show full of the quickest sketches, hottest interviews and catchiest musical numbers this side of the Royal Mile, they jumped at the chance.
“Together they thrilled audiences for miles around, until one day the unimaginable happened – Johnny went missing. Will they be able to hold the show together without his breathtaking stellar presence? Will they manage to track him down? I heard they have a sexy robot – is this true? You’ll have to be there to find out.”
Fresh Bread are a group of comedy writers and performers based in Edinburgh. They met at the University of Edinburgh’s Comedy Society (The Edinburgh Revue) at various points between 2008 and 2010. The group have recorded a radio show and a short sitcom. The group now bring a host of sketches, songs and even robots to the Edinburgh Fringe in a “freshly baked” live show.
