Paris Fashion Week: Corrado de Biase Autumn-Winter 2011

Entitled “Miami on Fire” the Winter collection 2011 feature oversize zips, mini dresses and futuristic boleros. Shown at Théâtre du Châtelet on March 1st, the pieces marks the follow-up to Biase’s debut at Paris in October 2010.

Corrado de Biase was born in Bari in August 1977 and graduated in Fashion and Design at the Istituto Europeo del Design in Rome. Afterwards, he joined the design team of Silvia Venturini Fendi as design assistant of the Fendi men’s and women’s footwear collection, a position which he held for three years.

In 2005 , Biase transferred to the style office of Yves Saint Laurent, as assistant to Francesco Russo and Stefano Pilati, coordinating the men and women’s footwear collections. Since 2008, he has worked with John Galliano as head of the men-women’s footwear line. Still free lancing for John Galliano he also design Rochas footwear with Marco Zanini.
