Fashion is a family business for Albert Kriemler, who joined his grandmother’s firm in St. Gallen, Switzerland, in 1980 at the age of 20.
Since then, Albert and his brother Peter have established Akris as a high-end, understated fashion house.
Supplying clients such as H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco, Akris is renowned for quality and simplicity. As Albert Kriemler says himself, “When a woman walks into a room, I want people to notice her personality first and her clothing second.”
The new Spring Summer 2014 collection from Akris has a distinct safari theme with outfits which would be just at home in Namibia as in Paris.
Earthy colours, animal prints and light fabrics make this line into ideal tropical attire. Smart two-piece daywear is contrasted with sparkling gowns – something for every occasion at the Equator.
