New Chef at Barolo, Beijing, is Gianluca Visani

Gianluca Visani will be serving up Italian cuisine at the award-winning Barolo restaurant in , starting in June. Visani has previously worked at ilLido in Singapore and worked alongside Michelin-starred chef Marco Torri whilst in Milan. Over the last 12 years he has worked as a head chef in Singapore, Europe and the United Arab Emirates.

Upon his appointed Mr Visani commented:

“I am excited about my new position with Barolo, and truly look forward to introducing new ideas and working with the ladies and gentlemen at the , Beijing to make Italian cuisine a wonderful experience for those preparing it and indulging it.”

The Ritz-Carlton Beijing has six restaurants serving a range of international cuisine including Barolo, which serves Italian fare, and Yu, which provides Cantonese dining.
