Na Li Wins Women’s French Open 2011

beat defending champion at the Roland Garros in straight sets. The final scores were 4-6, 6-7, with taking all the seven tie-break points to claim the title. The match on Saturday 4th June 2011 saw the power play of the Chinese star overwhelm the flamboyant style of the Italian. Li had to hold her nerve when she went down one game to 5-6, before levelling and eventually claiming the tie-break.

The men’s singles final will be aired on Sunday 5th June 2011 from 15:00 (CET).
