Luxury 1990 Vintage Dom Perignon Sorbet Created in Los Angeles

Dom Perignon sorbet from the LA Creamery

A creamery in Los Angeles has developed an expensive recipe for sorbet, which involves a bottle of 1990 Vintage Dom Perignon. The limited edition batches of iced dessert were made available specially for New Year’s Eve in the United States and cost $50 per pint or $400 per gallon.

A bottle of 1990 Vintage Dom Perignon retails at $300 per bottle. Some enthusiasts would baulk at the idea of doing anything but drinking the premiere beverage poured from a bottle stored in an ice bucket, but the LA Creamery went one step further and iced the champagne itself resulting in an exclusive and fittingly exuberant start to the New Year.
