A savage murder in a well-to-do household perplexes the detectives and the victims’ family.
With only a partial print to go on, DS Devlin and DS Brooks decide to dredge the history of the previous owners. A high profile fraud case is uncovered involving large amounts of money and bad blood between jailed business partners.
The resulting case probes the very definition of murder and requires all the investigative and analytical powers of both the police and prosecution. As the main suspect claims that he cannot remember the events, the crucial issue becomes one of intent.
A twisting episode of false horizons and conflicting hearsay with an excellent performance of the multi-layered Lucas Boyd.
