Race number 20 is the Breeders’ Cup Classic at Santa Anita Park, where Zenyatta will make her last ever start – the horse is to be retired following this final effort against the male superstars of international horse racing.

Zenyatta – “Super Horse”

Whether or not Zenyatta can win on 6th November, she has an incredible record which is well summed up by the commentary from last year’s Breeders’ Cup Classic.

As the horses rounded the final bend, Zenyatta was towards the rear of a field which contained Kentucky Derby winner, Mine That Bird, Epsom Derby fourth Rip Van winkle and Belmont Stakes winner Summer Bird.

Race Commentator on the day, Trevor Denman, declared that Zenyatta had “a lot of ground to make up, if she wins this, she’ll be a super horse,” – following which Zenyatta carved her way through the field to beat the world-class colts by a length going away.

Much of the horse racing world watching on Saturday 6th November, will be hoping Zenyatta can do it one last time and make it a perfect 20 from 20 and prove she really is a “Super Horse”.

Zenyatta’s 2010 Breeders’ Cup Classic Odds

Zenyatta is currently 5/2 (2.5 to 1) favourite to win the 2010 Breeders’ Cup Classic race with Ladbrokes bookmakers.
