Football: West Ham’s Mark Noble Out for a Month

Surgery to remove an appendix will result in West Ham losing on of their best players, Mark Noble, for up to a month, it was revealed today.

The midfielder underwent an operation to remove his appendix after complaining of stomach pain in training with the London club on Monday.

Noble is expected to take up to four weeks to recover from the surgery, which means West Ham will miss him during up to six important league matches, as they look to lift themselves from bottom of the league.
