Football: UEFA Champions League 2010 Quarter Final and Semi Final Draw

The Quarter Final and Semi Final draw for this season’s was made this afternoon, at 12 o’clock CET, and has thrown some big fixtures, as expected.

Barcelona, so impressive this week when beating Stuttgart 4-0 at home have drawn FC.

will relive the Champions League Final of 1999 as they have drawn Bayern Munich.

An all French tie sees Lyon take on , while face .

Of the teams who impressed in the round of 16, Manchester United have perhaps the easiest route to the final, as the winner of their match will face either Lyon or Bordeaux, missing out potential danger ties against Inter Milan, Barcelona and Arsenal.

The two-legged 2010 Quarter Final matches will take place on the 30th/31st March and the 6th/7th April 2010. The Semi Finals will be played on 20th/21st and 27th/28th April 2010, while the final is due to be played at the Real Madrid Santiago Bernabéu stadium on 22nd May 2010.

  2. (GER) v Manchester United FC (ENG)
  3. Arsenal FC (ENG) v FC Barcelona (ESP, holders)
  4. (ITA) v PFC CSKA Moskva (RUS)

Champions League 2010 Semi Finals:

  1. Winner quarter-final 2 v Winner quarter-final 1
  2. Winner quarter-final 4 v Winner quarter-final 3

    Man U in final 90%.Arsenal will beat Barca.Inter will trash arsenal.Man U vs Inter in final 50-50%.but football is funny.Watch out for chelsea next season when we do away with old legs.Blues 4 life.NOTE:Arsenal will beat Barca.

    Yes, what about Inter – Mourinho has got them playing really well. Okay messi has it all in attack, but Inter’s defence is out of this world – and they can score through Eto’o too. Mourinho for another Champions League in 2010???!

    it looks like a repeat final this year but i think ManU can outperform barca if they frustrate barca’s attack.

    It looks as though everybody has forgotten about Inter Milan, though i think Manchester United is going to face a tough and sweet exit. I hope Arsenal makes it through or better still play a beautiful game, for that is why i support them.
