Football: Scottish Communities League Cup 2011/12 3rd Round Fixtures, Tuesday 20 September 2011

The Scottish Communities League Cup 2011/12 continues on Tuesday 20th September 2011, when the Third Round of the competition swings into action.

The Third Round is when the teams who qualified for UEFA competitions last season, and the four best of the brest Scottish Premier League teams from last season, enter the Scottish League Cup, creating some interesting ties.

Tonight sees Aberdeen take on East Fife at home, Dundee United travel to Airdrie, and a number of ties which are considerably closer in terms of league positions. Kilmarnock face Queen of the South, Motherwell entertain Edinburgh based Hibernian and a battle of the Saints sees St Johnstone welcome St Mirren.
