The New Year sees the big teams enter the FA Cup for 09/10 in , as the Third Round matches take place this weekend.

Today sees some potential upsets as Liverpool, struggling for form without regular appearances from Fernando Torres, travel to former Premier League Reading.

Fellow Championship side Middlesbrough host nouveau riche Manchester City who, despite a playing squad many will envy, have not performed well enough to keep their manager: Roberto Mancini will be experiencing his first ever FA Cup tie, the Teessiders will hope to capitalise.
