FIFA World Cup 2014: Belgium 23 Man Squad

Belgium coach Marc Wilmots has announced a very impresive 23 man squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

With household names such as Manchester City’s Vincent Kompany at the heart of the defence, and the impressive Chelsea forward, Eden Hazard, in among a number of high profile European footballers, Belgium look set for perhaps their best ever tournament performance in 2014.

For Belgium, that best-ever was fourth at Mexico 86, so the class of 2014 has some high sights indeed.

If they are to achieve anything like that 1986 run, they must first progress from Group H, where they face Algeria, Russia and South Korea.
