European Youth Olympics: Great Britain Tops Medal Table
Great Britain is currently topping the medals table at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Finland. Here are the current standings:

Britain have 12 medals – six gold, three silver and three bronze.
Team GB’s Mark England said;
We’re delighted to be leading the 49 nation European Youth Olympics with just two days of competition remaining. We have witnessed a number of truly outstanding performances from Team GB athletes.
It bodes well for the next generation of British Olympic sport that we’re now consistently winning at the highest level, and it’s great that we’re beating powerful Olympic nations such as Russia, Germany, Italy, and France.
