Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. & UPS Both Declare Dividends

Dr Pepper Snapple controls a host of brands

Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. & UPS both declared dividends today.

Shareholders in Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. will receive $0.34 per share on 5th October 2012 in a quarterly dividend. The company operates brands such as 7UP, A&W, Canada Dry, Clamato, Crush, Hawaiian Punch, Mott’s, Mr & Mrs T mixers, Peñafiel, Rose’s, Schweppes, Squirt and Sunkist soda. Shares closed the day before the news at $45.01.

Shareholders in company, UPS, will receive a quarterly dividend of $0.57 per share paid on 5th September 2012. Boasting dependability, the company said in a statement:

“UPS boosted its dividend by 10 percent earlier this year. The company has paid either stock or cash dividends every year since 1955 and has more than tripled its dividend since it went public at the end of 1999.”

UPS closed on August 9th, before the news, at $76.03.
