Commonwealth: Expedition Returns from Antarctica

Six Commonwealth women who completed an epic 900km journey to the South Pole just before New Year arrived back in London on Monday 11th January 2010 to celebrate at Malborough House.
Commonwealth Secretary-General Kamalesh Sharma told the women:
It is the greatest possible testament to what extraordinary things can be achieved when people set their heart on a goal. The courage, endeavour, unity and good humour shown by the team is as humbling as it is inspiring.
The Kaspersky Commonwealth Antarctic Expedition comprised women from Brunei, Cyprus, India, New Zealand, Singapore and the United Kingdom and was organised to commemorate 60 years of the Commonwealth. They were as follows:
