Coca Cola Report $8.2 Billion in Revenues for 2011

Coca-Cola has reported full year revenues of $8.2 billion for 2011. Net income after tax was US $749 million – $125 million up on the previous year. Fourth quarter revenues were $99 million up on the comparable period in 2010, and fourth quarter net income for 2011 was $16 million up on the same period in 2010.

John F. Brock put the continued growth down to a successful full year as European bottler, the integration of Norway and Sweden and the completion of a $1 billion share repurchase program. Coca-Cola intends to repurchase another $500 million shares by the end of 2012 and has increased the dividend by 23%.

Coca-Cola brands have seen growth in Europe, including Powerade Energy, Capri Sun and Ocean Spray. The company plans to make new investments in Norway over the next year, including a warehouse and new packaging.
