Irish , , have this afternoon reported via their press release “are Posh and Becks on the Brink of Splitting up?” that they have taken several “maximum stake bets” on David and being the first couple to split up during 2010.

It is unclear why those betting on the couple breaking up are doing so, but bookies are obviously taking the betting move seriously as they have been forced to slash the odds on this occurence from a previously improbable 80-1 into a much more imminent 10-1.

Paddy Power reported that “a number of new customers” signed up to take maximum stake bets at prices as low as 18-1 on David and Victoria Beckham being the first celebrity couple to split up this year.

With currently in Milan starting his loan spell at the city’s AC Milan club, many will wonder if there has been some story of discord among brand Beckham which caused a gamble of this magnitude to take place.

“With David Beckham currently in Milan starting his loan spell at the city’s AC Milan club, ”

interesting angle, especially as David’s AC Milan loan ended in March and he is currently in South Africa with the England squad. Not that you should have known that, it’s just some low profile event called the World Cup. Not like it’s the biggest sporting event on the planet or anything.

Boring much? Have nothing to do at all that they come up with this bet? Or better yet..just DESPERATE to make some headlines using the Beckhams’ names. Yeah..I think the last one prevail. This is a very stupid bet..and all because David is in Milan now? What the Fuck??! It’s not the First time David went there..HELLO!! He was there last January too! And for the same period of time! And they were celebrating the New Year and Christmas together. So Stupid!
