Bentley Continental Now Available with Mulliner Styling

Bentley has announced that the Continental GT is now available with new styling cues as part of the Mulliner Styling Specification.

The ‘Classic Pack’ comprises a front bumper splitter, strakes integrated into the front intake grilles, and side extension blades and a rear diffuser, all made from high-gloss, black carbon-fibre.

The Mulliner Styling Specification has been designed by Raul Pires, Bentley’s head of exterior design, who said:

“The Mulliner Styling Specification, with its sharper lines and darker, lower appearance subtly underscores the extrovert, flamboyant nature of our new Coupe. It delivers a more personalised, sportive interpretation of a luxurious, refined GT.”

These changes can be complemented by additional options including 21-inch, 7-spoke black-painted alloy wheels, a matching carbon-fibre rear spoiler and door mirror cowls, all of which are fitted at the Bentley factory in Crewe, England, ensuring a factory finish to the accessories.

Bentley has also ensured that the components are designed and manufactured to the same standards as the rest of the car. These included  comprehensive trials  including ‘V-Max’ tests and wind tunnel appraisals to ensure that the handling and performance of the Continental GT was not compromised by the addition of the Mulliner Styling Specification.

Steve O’Hara, Aftersales Director for Bentley, explains:

“To ensure complete peace of mind for our customers, the Mulliner Styling Specification is underpinned by the Company’s exhaustive aerodynamic and durability testing programme and is backed by a full Bentley warranty.”

The Classic Pack is available to order from June 2011 onwards and the optional design features can be ordered from authorised Bentley dealers from Autumn 2011.
