Peter Egardt was the president of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and Swedish Chambers of Commerce from 1995-2010. He was also undersecretary to Prime Minister Carl Bildt from 1991-1994 and political expert at the Ministry of Economic Affairs from 1979 to 1981.
Peter Egardt is Chairman of the National Defence College Board, the Swedish National Space Board, Millesgården, Thiel Gallery Foundation and a member of the General Council.
Peter Egardt was appointed in 2012 by the Swedish Government as Chairman of the Committee on a Sustainable Predator Policy for Wolves - The Wolf Committee.
