Australia Rated Best Place for Growing Business

As nearly 2300 people from 92 countries celebrate their new nationality as part of Australian Citizenship Day, data from the Grant Thornton Global Dynamism Index suggests that Australia is the best place to be for a growing business.

Ed Nusbaum, CEO of Grant Thornton, commented on the system used to rank countries:

“Five areas were identified as holding the key drivers to an economy’s dynamism: business operating environment, science and technology, labour and human capital, economics and growth, and the financing environment.”

Australia performed best in the areas of Labour and Human Capital – including; labour productivity growth; unemployment; school life expectancy; % of population under 30.
