Anderson Withdraw Bid for Books-A-Million

The Anderson family has withdrawn a non-binding bid for major book retailer Books-A-Million. The Andersons had been considering an offer for all outstanding publicly-held shares of the common stock of the NASDAQ listed company for $3.05 per share.

Books-A-Million has 257 stores in 34 regions of the USA and trades under names including Books-A-Million (BAM!), Books & Co., 2nd & Charles and Bookland.
